movies to watch when you want to cry

P.S. I love you

starring Hilary Swank and Gerard Butler, directed by Richard LaGravenese
This film was reccomended by my friends brother by him quoting "It's the only movie that has EVER made my eyes ball out with tears." He is a very muscular professional fisherman who looks like he could possibly the next Hugh Jackman. His quote made my tired legs walk 20 minutes to the nearest blockbuster. - and he was right and it was worth a trip. The film begins with the happy couple living in a very stylish modern downtown NY apartment. First, I just love the lay-out of the room and I am going to live in a room that resembles this one. THe red lampshades, shoes, pillows on the bed, huge windown with organza curtains and the side bench-chair thinggy just below it.

I reccomend this movie to a person who has just lost their love of their life, a person struggling in a relationship, or someone who has lost hopes in finding love. Yes, it is a chick flick but GUYS watch and learn girls feelings! I mean he is my ideal irish man:)

Holly and Gerry are the ideal couple- love each other deeply yet sometimes have arguments but it just makes their relationships closer. Holly was only nineteen when she met him and he was her first love.

Okay it's not a poiler but Gerry dies:( and that's when the story actually begins. After Holly losing her love, she is not coping life. On her 30th birthday she recieves a cake from an unknown person with a voice recorded message. Her journey of hope, laughter, joy begins by the happiness and the adventure the cake brought. Through out the movie, Holly finds her new inner self and changes to care for people around her and appreciates all her friends and family for the support that she always has just besides her.

I love this movie. I still cry even I know the ending. I am crying while I type this post. Please watch with a nice cup of japanese Genmai-cha Tea and laviosh bites with honey and ricotta cheese.
